A = Attractive what do they find attractive about the other?

Logan adores her kindness and compassion and the way it manifests from simple kisses to all his cuts and bruises and scars to her leaving a snack for him to munch on for on the go, since he gets occasionally careless with his basic health due to his immense focus and devotion to his work. Some nights when it’s hard to sleep, she maps his body out with her lips and fingertips drawing lines to each point to form constellations on his body and he has never felt more cared for than in those moments. Other times though, he sees her compassion as a weakness that he fears will end her up in trouble. Just look at where they are now, up to no good and he claims to regret dragging her down with him, but there’s still that selfish side that rears its ugly head that wants to cling desperately onto them. He also adores the way her eyes light up when they see him and it feels like he can do no wrong in them, and fuck does he want to believe that. They’re so open and honest when her words can’t be, but he can’t blame her for that, because just look at him and what he’s done to get where he is. Logan also finds that when he looks into her eyes, it feels like he’s being stripped to his most vulnerable state, and feels the need to bare himself heart in hand for her. And if he’s not careful, he might just spill everything out to her one day, but some days that doesn’t sound so bad the idea.

B = Baby do they want a family? why/why not?

No, they’re too young and he doesn’t think he’ll ever be fit to be a father. Just look at all that he’s made up and has to offer. He can hardly understand why Brie is still there, clinging to him as he does with her after seeing all his faults and lies. But he’s grateful nonetheless. Also, considering his past with his own parents, he doesn’t want a repeat of it, despite abhorring the behaviour, but there’s a persistent voice in his head that gnaws at his insecurities that make him believe the worst of him, they tell him that Brie will see who he really is and scorn him, and that dashes any hopes of domesticity with her by insisting he’ll become no better than his own parents.

C = Cuddle how do they cuddle?

His preference is when they’re relaxing on a bed or a couch or even the back of his car where he can just lie down or recline back and Brie is on top of him. Her head resting upon his chest, listening to the beat of his heart and the stories it weaves based upon his thoughts. Sometimes she’ll prompt him as to why his heart rate has quickened, and they’ll converse. Other times, she allows him to think freely without her voice to fill up the space. Logan also enjoys having his arms encircle her in an embrace that he hopes conveys all the happiness he gains from having her near him in the least.

D = Dates what are dates with them like?

If he’s the one to set the date up, expect cars to be involved, typically. They can range from exciting to calming, depends where the nights take them. On the more thrilling side, they can go racing each other, the winner perhaps being treated by the loser to a meal of their choice, or a kiss or two, or even higher stakes and do a punishment for the loser, such as running around in their underwear while the winner follows them around in their car while a friend of theirs film them. On the calmer end of the spectrum, a drive in theatre date, but without a fight, a scenic drive that ends in a picnic at a remote location, or on the rare occasion, they’ll stay in and watch movies and shows in his loft as they gorge on popcorn and M&Mx.

E = Everything you are my ____ (e.g my life, my world…)

F = Feelings when did they know they were falling in love?

The boy knew he caught feelings by the end of their first date, when he saved her from the cops. He knew he was definitely into her when he brought her into his world and introduced her to his brother. He lost himself when he gave her his lucky charm. He fell when he allowed himself to get comfortable with the thought that this can be a forever now. It was a cruel thought, being happy that she had been effectively disowned by her dad and no longer could walk within the sun, but fuck is he selfish. She’s his first good thing, the outlier, a mistake that grew into more, a carelessly made by product of his mission, and fuck is he grateful. He’ll spend the rest of his life making it up to her if he can keep this forever. He has few forevers in his life, little absolutes, but if she could become one, he would wholly devote himself to her.

G = Gentle are they gentle? If so, how?

In those moments that a drop of a pin could ruin, he’s gentle to a fault with her, cradling her to his chest as he would her heart. His love is sudden but tender and warm, never wanting to overstep his boundaries; afraid she might cast him aside for his transgressions, even though he knows better that she wouldn’t treat him so cruelly. He always awaits for her words to prompt his actions, but his mischievous hands sometimes take ahold of him and he grips her a bit firmer but never enough to hurt her, ever, but enough to convey that he wants her in a greater capacity than he could communicate with his words.

H = Hand/Hold how do they like to hold? how do they like to hold hands?

With a gentle reverence as he brings her hand to his lips and gingerly kisses the back of her hand before trailing them downward to her fingertips and palms and finally the pulse of her wrist. The first gasp that he draws from her is a separate reward from the simple pleasure he gets from worshipping her as she does for him many times before.

I = Impression first impression/s

He thought she was cute in a nerdy way. Book smart, but not streetwise. He never would’ve expected she’d become his everything, his raison d’être. She made him reconsider his life philosophy and put them to the test time and time again with her relentlessly bleeding heart. The craziest thing? He might be starting to see things her way the moment their kiss lingers a bit longer and the way that he could still feel the lingering heat in his hands from her touch and the fact that when he closes his eyes, he sees her.

J = Joker are they into pulling pranks?

Yup, but they’re harmless, like switching their milkshakes so that he can drink her chocolate one in exchange for his empty one. The look on her face is hilarious and he apologizes to her with a kiss and a promise of a new milkshake, which they’ll share.

K = Kisses how do they kiss?

Like he’ll never have the chance to again. It sears her lips and scorches her soul all to say that he was here and not to forget him.

L = Little things what little things do they love/notice?

Her tiny smiles that appear when she solves a problem from her homework, or the satisfaction that appears on her face while using her brand new school supplies. There’s also the unbridled excitement that sings in her voice when she speaks about things she’s passionate about like her studies or her favourite shows or foods.

M = Memory their favorite moment together

Their first time together. It was at night after a day of strenuous work when everything was quiet. The rest of the gang had went to bed, leaving only the two of them up. It began with jokes that drew him to her side, and consequently, into his bed. The way that her body shone in the moonlight will forever be etched into his memory.

N = Nickel do they spoil? do they buy the person they love everything?

Logan is rather spontaneous in his gifts, such as surprising her with drinks from Starbucks that he thought she’d like, or perhaps something that reminds him of her or vice versa. They once actually went to a carnival together, and Brie was obviously enamoured by the grand prize for the basketball game, a big brown teddy bear. She said that it reminds her of him, because they both have brown hair and the bear’s bow is the exact shade of his eyes, which Logan laughed at, but was endeared nevertheless. As a result, he obviously won that bear for her, how could he not? He’s also the kinda boyfriend to surprise his girlfriend with the occasional rose or bouquet when the mood strikes.

O = Orange what color reminds them of their other half

He’s reminded by the particular shade of blue of her Langston sweatshirt that she wears like it’s going out of fashion. When he learnt that she had it since she was 13, he had laughed, because of course she had it for that long and still insists upon wearing it. Seeing the sweater though is bittersweet because it reminds him of all the dreams that she has struggled tirelessly to obtain and here he is dashing it to the floor by merely appearing into her life. However, it also reminds him of her determined spirit because she had the shirt since she was 13, and if that didn’t spell conviction, he didn’t know what did. And the fact that she ain’t blowing smoke from her mouth earns mad respects from him.

P = Petnames what petnames do they use?

He calls her “troublemaker” and “sparkplug”. The first one is a joke that she’s the more troublemaking of the two, which she digresses. The second one came up after he gave her his lucky charm and they made up. To him, she’s his lucky charm, too. Also, she can be spunky and feisty when she wants to be, particularly though when somebody gets in her face, like Colt, which sharpens her tongue and wit to form the perfect comebacks that have him reeling with laughter.

Q = Questions what are the questions they’re always asking?

“How’d he get so lucky with her? What’d he do to deserve her?” Those are the main questions that plague his thoughts in the middle of the night when he’s up.

R = Remember their favorite memory of each other

That night after the drive through mishap when she took care of him. He never felt anything quite like that before. Sure he has Vaughn but to receive care and attention from Brie is indescribable and unequivocal. They both hold such a significance to him but in completely different ways.

S = Sad how do they cheer themselves/each other up

Logan helps cheer Brie up by helping her forget about things - if she wants - by either going for a drive, kissing her until they can’t breathe or whatever she’ll ask of him. When he’s sad, he tends to go on a long drive as he plays old classics like Sinatra and Elvis and all the greats. He’s a bit of an old heart, which not many people know besides Brie and Vaughn.

T = Talking what do they love to talk about?

With Brie, not work. He talks enough shop with the crew. With Brie, he desires something outside of it, which has never felt so foreign to him and dangerous, but the more she speaks with conviction that there is more in stored for him, good things he can’t help but believe her and take the dive into the deep end. He doesn’t really have a favourite topic, but in general he just likes talking to Brie about anything, like upcoming dates, movies that he watched, or a cute dog he saw and got a picture of to show her.

U = Universe use a metaphor, what are they to each other? (e.g he was the universe, ever-changing and mysterious)

He was the ocean, welcoming but unforgiving. Capricious as predictable.

V = Very ___ they’re thoughts about each other (e.g she’s very smart, he’s very stubborn, they’re very annoying etc.)

“She’s very smart, so I don’t know why she’s still here, especially anywhere near me but I can’t bring myself to complain. She’s too good for me. (laughs unbelieving) She’s too good to me. God I’m lucky. Too lucky… (he frowns pensively then smiles softly) I feel like the luckiest bastard just being able to be near her… (shakes his head in disbelief) I can’t even describe how it feels like to be with her. (he sighs dreamily and then chuckles) I just… love her.”

W = Why reasons why they love each other

Logan: looks at Brie adoringly.

Logan, smiling softly: “Just… look at her…”

Logan got them jokes so he once said to her, dead serious face that she’s his nut to his bolt, and it had her on the floor laughing. He had an innocent expression on his face, playing it off as if he didn’t understand her laughter nor his insinuation; however, his smile gave way, and his shit eating grin gave him away.

Z = Zebra if they wanted a pet, what pet would they get?

A DOG! He’s always wanted one since he was a little kid, but they couldn’t afford one. They had strays back in Detroit that they fed when they came across them, but never one that became a permanent companion. Brie thinks an American Staffordshire Terrier would make a great companion for him because they’re loyal to a fault, and she thinks that Logan deserves someone to depend on and someone that won’t break his trust and will return his loyalty tenfold. Also, she jokes that they look alike.

 Bonjour à vous !  Est-ce que vous êtes aussi impatient que moi d’être en vacances ? On est à la mi-juin et bientôt juillet. J’ai tellement hâte de me coucher à pas d’heure sans avoir la peur d’être un zombie au boulot le lendemain ! Partir vers de nouveaux horizons et ne pas être sous le joug d’un planning serré… J’ai hâte ! Pendant que je rêve à de nombreuses destinations de vacances, je vous laisse découvrir la sélection des sorties de la semaine:

⭐ “LA MOMIE”

Film réalisé par Alex Kurtzman.  Avec  Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis Au début, j’ai cru que nous aurions droit au remake du film de 1999, mais il s’avère que non. “La momie” de 2017 est le premier film du “Dark Universe”, une série de films sur les monstres classiques du cinéma (Frankenstein, L’homme invisible, Docteur Jekyll etc…). A voir si Tom Cruise marque l’essai .

SYNOPSIS: Bien qu’elle ait été consciencieusement enterrée dans un tombeau au fin fond d’un insondable désert, une princesse de l’ancienne Égypte, dont le destin lui a été injustement ravi, revient à la vie et va déverser sur notre monde des siècles de rancœurs accumulées et de terreur dépassant l’entendement humain. Des sables du Moyen Orient aux pavés de Londres en passant par les ténébreux labyrinthes d’antiques tombeaux dérobés, La Momie nous transporte dans un monde à la fois terrifiant et merveilleux, peuplé de monstres et de divinités, dépoussiérant au passage un mythe vieux comme le monde.

⭐ “NOS PATRIOTES”

Film réalisé par Gabriel Le Bomin. Avec Marc Zinga, Alexandra Lamy, Pierre Deladonchamps Adapté du roman “Le Terroriste noir” de Tierno Monénembo, ce film parle d’Addi Bâ qui a été dans le régiment des tirailleurs sénégalais et une figure de la résistance française.

SYPNOPSIS: Après la défaite française de l’été 1940, Addi Ba, un jeune tirailleur sénégalais s’évade et se cache dans les Vosges. Aidé par certains villageois, il obtient des faux papiers qui lui permettent de vivre au grand jour. Repéré par ceux qui cherchent à agir contre l’occupant et qui ne se nomment pas encore “résistants”, il participe à la fondation du premier “maquis” de la région.

⭐ “FREE FIRE”

Film réalisé par Ben Wheatley. Avec Brie Larson, Cillian Murphy, Armie Hammer Il a un côté WTF et une légère touche à la  “Reservoir Dogs” qui a des chances de plaire à certains… Dont moi, je l’avoue. A voir si cela peut vous intéresser

SYPNOPSIS: Interdit aux moins de 12 ans Une vente d’armes clandestine doit avoir lieu dans un entrepôt désert. Tous ceux qui y sont associés se retrouvent face à face : deux Irlandais, Justine, l’intermédiaire, et le gang dirigé par Vernon et Ord. Mais rien ne se passe comme prévu et la transaction vire à l’affrontement. C’est désormais chacun pour soi… pour s’en sortir, il va falloir être malin et résistant.

⭐ “CREEPY”

Film réalisé par Kiyoshi Kurosawa. Avec  Hidetoshi Nishijima, Yuko Takeuchi, Teruyuki Kagawa J’aime beaucoup l’ambiance que distille Kiyoshi Kurosawa dans ses films. Celle-ci semble oppressante avec une touche de macabre. *En mode Mr Burns (Simpson)*: Excellent.

SYPNOPSIS: Un ex-détective devenu professeur en criminologie s’installe avec son épouse dans un nouveau quartier, à la recherche d’une vie tranquille. Alors qu’on lui demande de participer à une enquête à propos de disparitions, sa femme fait la connaissance de leurs étranges voisins.

  Une sélection qui me semble bien intéressante ! N’hésitez pas à noter les films qui pourraient vous intéresser pour profiter de la “Fête du cinéma” pour les voir à petits prix 🙂 ! Je vous souhaite à tous une belle semaine et à la prochaine !

ROD High School AU

Note: Just reposting this officially onto this blog for posterity in case I delete my old blog. Also, I have ROD brainrot again RIP.

Thought of this idea after playing some other dating sim with the trope of girl that has a crush on a jock even tho her bff since childhood likes her, but won’t admit it. Basically everything is the same in turns of school for Brie pretty much.

The option to fake Logan as a student kinda gave me this idea, wherein he’s the number 1 quarterback in the school. Naturally, he’s popular and hangs in a social circle that reflects that. As a result, he’s “friends” with Brent and Ingrid.

Before coming to LA, he moved around a lot with his adoptive older brother, Vaughn (originally, his older cousin, until he stepped in for Logan’s mom). They moved wherever Vaughn thought they would get more business for his food truck, which eventually led them here. Logan didn’t care so long as they had some form of shelter and a place he could go to school to. Also, he’s just happy to be included in someone else’s life.

Vaughn is the main income provider; however, as soon as Logan was old enough to work, he did part-time outside of his school and sports in order to help Vaughn. As Vaughn had a knack for cars, it was natural that he taught Logan his love for them too, so Logan tended to gravitate to labour involving machines, which ended him up working for Kaneko’s Autoshop. The work is demanding but the pay fair, and it came with some bonuses too.

Logan had only moved to LA about 2 years ago, yet he had made a mark almost instantaneously.

Colt is the childhood best friend of Brie because of their moms’ being best friends since their youth. Colt’s mom (whom I dubbed Yuki) is actually her godmother/aunt and same with Colt and Brie’s mom. They even lived in the same neighbourhood, which was surprising since she was a single mother providing for two, but luckily Brie’s mom was owed a few favours by the landlady.

Growing up, Colt and Brie hung out a lot. They loved to practically do everything together. They ate together, napped together, played together, etc. They even went to all the same schools. They had an inseparable bond, unique to them. Colt was also forced to watch a lot of Sailor Moon and the like as a result, but in turn, he’d make her watch Naruto and Bleach, but was forced to stop by their parents after she kept getting nightmares from certain graphic episodes.

Colt was even friend with Riya. Even though he was only a year older than them both (a few months, Brie would retort), he acted like their older brother of sorts, protective yet mean. He liked teasing them a lot, but mainly Brie, but after going too far one time, and causing her to cry, he toned it down. He was also something of a chaperone for them if they wanted to go places but needed supervision.

They often spent time at the other’s place, since they were next door neighbours. It was normal for them to see the other already at their place and having a snack and making themselves at home.

Brie is also familiar with Colt’s dad, and so whenever Colt spends his weekends with his dad at his apartment, Brie tends to visit. She’s also familiar with his “step-mom”, Chia, and considers her her third mom. In turn, Kaneko is like her 2nd dad, weirdly enough.

In regards to Logan and Colt’s relationship overall, they are rivals and don’t get along usually, meaning that someone has to separate them. At the shop, they work harmoniously but still butt heads, while at school they act like the other doesn’t exist to avoid conflict.

Colt is bitter at Logan because of how he suddenly rolled in one day and became his dad’s new favourite while Colt spent his entire life trying to gain his dad’s approval and praise.

At school, Colt is the outcast bad boy with the motorcycle. Logan is the jock with the sleek car. Brie is the honour student that rides the bus… Very different worlds.

However, a bet with Brent changes all of that… Brent betted that Logan didn’t have the balls to get Brie to fall for him. What’s on the line? 10,000$, and when you’re struggling to get by… you don’t back down from that kinda money.

When Brie first met Logan back when they were Juniors, they bumped into each other and Logan helped her up. Ever since then, Brie has had a crush on him, but hasn’t made a move. She’s seen him mostly in the shop, so she tries her hardest to hang around there. When Colt found out why she has been acting weird and visiting the shop more often, he got livid and his relations with Logan worsened.

It’s not fair when the girl you’ve liked since you were kids falls for some nobody that suddenly enters their life acts like he’s king of the hill.

When Logan began the bet, he faked it that he needed help on his schoolwork even tho he’s doing pretty good already, so that Brie could tutor him. He also introduced her into the world of rallies and parties, and before he could stop it, he fell for her.

He even introduced her to Vaughn, which he has never done before with any other girl. He told her about his life on the road and the hardships he faced and the truth of his situation wherein he lives in the slums, and not somewhere great like how everyone at school depicts.

Logan meant to tell her about his bet, but Colt caught wind of it first and blurted it out.

Riya is an ambivalent friend, rooting for Brie no matter her choice. Evidently, Colt’s family and hers want them to get together. Ingrid and Vaughn are in Logan’s corner cheering him on.

Matcha Three Way

Logan honestly couldn’t believe he was doing this, standing in a line in a Starbucks waiting for his order to be taken. He’s not a fan of the stuff, to be honest, but from what he gathered, Brie might be, so that’s enough for him to come here. He intently studies the photo on his phone of what he plans to order for her.

According to the internet, matcha is a popular drink among girls, especially in Japan. Hearing about the praise it gets from Starbucks, he decided that he’d buy one for Brie to surprise her, but he can’t seem to decide which one she’d like the most.

Logan sighs, rethinking his decision. Perhaps he should just buy her a cheese wheel and call it a day. Logan laughs at the thought, while it being a joke, he knows full well that she would legitimately love a cheese wheel of her namesake.

“Next, please!” the cashier calls out. Logan is pulled from his thoughts and moves forward. “Hi, how may I help you?” she greets, and Logan can see the way her eyes roamed his body, which he might have rolled with before and used her interest in him to gain some benefits, but now… things have changed, he reminds himself fondly.

“Hi, can I get a…” His eyes flicker to the menu and then his phone, mind trying to grasp for something to order, and he blurts, “A Matcha Three Way?”

He winces at the bewildered look he receives from the barista. It appears that was the wrong order. Logan quickly apologizes and looks at his phone again, carefully scanning the photo.

“Sorry about that, I meant this.” He shows her his phone. A look of recognition pops up onto her face and she nods her head, punching in his order and he pays after giving his name.

“You can just wait over there, it’ll be done soon!” she chirps, handing him his receipt after scribbling something on it.

Logan goes to the designated area and briefly glances at the paper, eyebrow arching at the number written haphazardly on it. He gives a light laugh before crumpling it and tossing it into the recycling receptacle discreetly, not wanting to earn the ire of the barista, lest he wanted spit in his drinks.

He wait patiently for his drinks, occasionally looking down at his phone to look at the time but really to catch a glimpse of his wallpaper. It depicts him and Brie together, kissing. He has one arm embracing her to him as she has her arms thrown around his neck, pulling him down to eye level with her to easily kiss him. He remembers that day, causing a reminiscent smile to spread along his face.

They were cruising side by side in their new vehicles they just scored from a job, riding up the hills until they reached what was the summit that he promised. He had to help her over a fence, which confused her, but he assured it was going to be worth it, and he was right. The look on her face was worth it to him. The amazement that shone in her eyes when she saw the infamous H of the Hollywood sign made his breath hitched and when her face broke out into the biggest smile with a radiance that could rival the sun’s, his heart skipped a beat.

It was after the Grapevine mission that they kissed as the sun rose from the east horizon, haloing them in the picture, while also showing the backdrop of LA slightly in view. It was a moment he’ll never forget, and he makes certain he doesn’t with this photo of theirs. He’s still uncertain where they stand, but he knows that it’s at least by her side, and for now, that was enough for him.

“Three Matcha drinks for Logan!” a voice broke his revery again. He goes up to the counter and fetches his drink, and the same barista winks at him suggestively. He smiles back, but it didn’t reach his eyes, unlike with Brie.

“Thanks,” he says, making his way out of the joint. He fondly smiles down at the tray in his hands. He’s excited to give these to Brie as a simple token of his affections that will hopefully help her with her studies too.

It was only 8:30 AM when he left, leaving a kiss upon her brow before quietly making his way to the coffee shop, and Brie only wakes up at 9 AM on weekends, enjoying some extra sleep. And who is he to interrupt her beauty sleep? By now, it’s 8:45, the trip back to the shop will get him there by the exact time she awakens, just to be sure that the drinks don’t accidentally spill all over his seats.

Logan quietly makes his way into the garage and it unfortunately seems that somebody else is an early bird as well. Colt was awake and fully clothed in his day attire and in the kitchen, preparing himself a bowl of cereal. Colt arches a brow at him and then lowers his gaze to the tray in his hands.

“Didn’t take you for a lover of Starbucks, white knight,” Colt remarks. Logan sneers at him.

“Funny, didn’t take you for a Trix kids.” Logan jerks his chin towards the bowl of colourful and fantastically shaped cereal that Colt is eating. Colt glowers at him. “Besides, it ain’t for me.” Curiosity spreads on his face again. “It’s for Brie,” Logan says. Colt’s eyebrows skyrocket to his hairline, shocked at the revelation.

“And she plans to… drink all of that?” Colt asks, under-lining concern audible in his voice, well, that or disbelief, and knowing him, Logan guesses the latter. Logan shrugs his shoulders.

“Maybe. She has to study and I decided to buy her a drink…” Logan trails off, a somewhat embarrassed expression alighting his face. “I didn’t know which matcha drink was good though so I bought the Three Way.” Colt chokes on his food and then laughs. Logan glares at him.

“You seriously called it that?” Logan huffs and stomps to his loft.

“Fuck off, Kaneko!”

Finally reaching their - his loft, he quickly reminds himself - he quietly sets down the drinks on his desk, trying to not disturb her but it seems that she is stirring to get up already.

She probably heard us downstairs, he thought. Logan sits down on the bed, causing the mattress to sink a bit at the added weight, and he bends down to peck her forehead. Brie’s eyelids flutter open, and then a dazed grin presents itself on her face.

“Morning, Logan,” she sleepily greets.

“Morning,” he replies before swooping down to give her a proper good morning kiss, but is stopped by the palm of her hand.

This is fine too, Logan thinks cheekily and proceeds to tickle her hand, fingertips and wrist with his gentle affections. Brie laughs at the ticklish sensation of his lips.

“What are you doing?” she asks.

“Well, since you won’t let me give you a proper good morning kiss, I thought this would suffice…” he trails off and throws her a mischievous look. “For now…”

Brie removes her hand from his grasps to cup his cheek and bring him to her. She returns his gestures, a number of pecks warming his face, everywhere except where he wanted…

She finally gets up to get ready for the day, walking to the bathroom with a slight sashay to her hips to tease him. Logan grinned toothily at her display and followed her into the bathroom where she was brushing her teeth.

He pushes her against the counter, his hips flush against her back and his arms entrapping her. He gives her open-mouthed kisses to her neck, his hands roving her body, her waist, hips, ass if he was feeling cheeky, and he was, and underneath his borrowed shirt to feel her soft skin beneath his, lest he forget it.

Brie laughs breathlessly at his bold behaviour while she continues to get ready for the day, as Logan is effectively distracting her. Even then she can’t help but to lean into his body, enjoying the scorching heat from his hands as he touched her so tenderly.

“I have a surprise for you,” he murmurs into her mussed hair.

“Oh?” His statement piques her interests.

“Hurry up,” he mysteriously says before backing off from her, and thus, allowing her to continue her daily rituals. Brie huffs a bit, but continues to wonder what he has in-store for her today.

The corner of her lips upturns, a devious thought passing her fancy.

Maybe it’s a toy…

Brie finally puts them both out of their misery and emerges from the bathroom, her hair wet from a quick shower. To her surprise, Logan is reclining on the couch with what looks like matcha drinks from Starbucks of all places.

“Surprise?” he says as she plops down next to him, their bodies knowing no boundary from each other.

“You didn’t have to…” Brie says, even though she’s already grabbing a drink from him, causing him to laugh.

“Well, I thought I’d get you something for studying, and I heard that matcha was from Japan, and Starbucks has it, so-”

Brie cuts him off with his long awaited good morning kiss. And a fine morning it was…

“I appreciate it,” she says after pulling away from him. His expression blissfully content.

“You’re welcome.”

Brie takes a sip from what looks like a green tea frappuccino. The taste of it has her pausing to compute its quality.

“So what do you think?” Logan asks, looking eagerly at her for a reply. Her eyes flit to him and then down at the drink that she removes from her mouth.

Her taste buds made the unfortunate decision to remind her that she’s not a fan of Starbucks drinks, not even the matcha variety. Her brain scrambles for a reply that would not dash Logan’s efforts to the ground, the very thought breaking her heart.

“It’s umm… Different…” she winces at her choice of words. His smile falters, and the only thing her honour roll brain could come up with to fix the situation was to stuff the drink in his face for him to try. “Here, try it!”

Without much thought, Logan takes a sip from the straw before grimacing at the flavour. It tastes nothing like the tea she prepared for him a few nights ago. Suddenly another reason is added to why he’s not a fan of Starbucks.

Brie laughs at his expression and sets down the drink to the side. “I see you’re not a fan of it either, huh? Why don’t we try some others?” Brie picks up another drink and they share them all, always grimacing at the overly sweet flavour before laughing about it.

“Even though the drinks were…” Brie trails off, trying to find her words.

“The worst?” Logan suggests. Brie laughs at his words but agrees with him.

“Yeah, that. I’m still grateful you thought of me.” She kisses the remaining whip cream from his lips, licking any supposed residue off with the tip of her tongue, causing him to growl at the feeling before pulling her onto his lap. His hands grips her hips tightly, keeping her flush against him. Logan devours her mouth with his and not so gently nips her lower lip.

They finally pull away, breathless. They were dazed but content as signified by their dreamy expressions.

“My pleasure…So…” He squeezes her hips, causing her to laugh before dismounting him.

“Not now, baby. Maybe later,” she says and moves over to sit at the desk, leaving him hard and wanting. He quirks a brow, his demeanor still flirty.

“‘Baby’, huh? Never heard you call me that before,” he remarks, a grin playing on his face as he watches her face flush.

Brie merely sticks her tongue out at him before grabbing her homework out of her bag to place it on the table. Logan’s eyes hone in on the flash of her raspberry red tongue, the thought of kissing her silly plaguing his mind. But he’ll play nice… For now…

“Stick your tongue out at me again, and I’ll have to do something about it,” he playfully reprimands, as he throws out the empty drinks that at least energized them for the day.

Without missing a beat, Brie replies to him, equally cheeky, but not even gracing him a look over her shoulder from her work pile. “Then why don’t you?”

Specifically with Brie, he’s a big cuddler and into pillowtalk, unlike with his flings. With Brie, she brings out the soft side of him. They talk about anything and everything on their minds, but try and steer clear of work. Usually, after sex is when Logan feels like baring himself to her the most, as he’s already vulnerable, so he might as well be a bit more, but just for her. In those tender moments, it’s hard for him to look at her. He tends to big spoon her from behind as he tells her anecdotes from his past. It always ends with her turning around to look at him after his “confessions” and kissing him so heart-wrenchingly gentle.

Also, if she’s feeling a bit “icky” after sex, he helps clean her up, pampering her. After he cleans her up, she does the same for him, worshipping his body with kisses all the while, nothing sexua,l just intimate.
